Inter&Co’s Board of Directors discusses, monitors and makes decisions related to the group’s business strategy. Therefore, rely on the advice of an Audit Committee composed of three independent members of Inter&Co’s Board of Directors, regulated by the US Securities and Exchange Act of 1933 and by Nasdaq Rules 5600.
In compliance with the regulations of the Brazilian Central Bank, Banco Inter has three statutory advisory committees to it’s Board of Directors:
- Audit Committee regulated by CMN Resolution 4,910
- Personnel and Compensation Committee regulated by CMN Resolution 3,921
- Risk Committee regulated by CMN Resolution 4,557
Bearing in mind that Banco Inter’s statutory committees monitor and discuss strategic issues, they have members of Inter&Co’s Board of Directors in their composition and, likewise, report on the progress of their work to Inter&Co’s Board of Directors.

André is Managing Partner and Head of Brazil at SoftBank Group International. Previously, he was a co-founder of 30 Knots, a LatAm growth dedicated Private Equity. Formerly, was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, head of Brazil Investment Banking Advisory, responsible for covering technology, telecom and media industries for Latam. With nearly 17 years at J.P. Morgan, 7 of which in New York, has been involved in over 200 M&A and Capital Markets transactions. He started his career at J.P. Morgan Partners, the bank’s private equity arm. André has a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Antonio Kandir served as Minister of State Planning and Budget, as a Special Secretary for Economic Policy, as President of the National Council on Privatization, as Brazilian Governor at the Inter-American Development Bank, as President of Institute of Applied Economic Research (Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada – IPEA), as Congressman, as Director of Private Equity and Hedge Funds, and Research Coordinator at Itaú Planejamento e Engenharia S.A. Kandir also worked as Professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), and as Assistant Faculty Fellow at the University of Notre Dame in USA. He holds a PhD and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School at the University of São Paulo (USP).

Graduated in Civil Engineering with Mackenzie in 1985. Pierre Carvalho Magalhães graduated from PUC/BH in 2000, and concluded an Executive MBA in Business Management from IBMEC/MG in 2006. He worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Auditores Independentes from 1997 to 2010, during this period he held positions of Audit Assistant, Senior Audit, Senior Audit Manager. Between 2010 and 2014, he worked at MRV Engenharia e Participações S.A. as Executive Manager of Risks and Internal Audit, where he currently holds the position of member of the Statutory Audit Committee. Between 2014 and 2020, he was a partner at Assets Assessoria Empresarial, a consultancy focused on processes, risk areas and controls. In 2019, he was elected as a Member of the Statutory Audit Committee of LOG Commercial Properties S.A. Since 2020, he has been a partner at Carvalho Magalhães Assessoria Contábil.

João Vitor Menin is the CEO of Inter&Co and Banco Inter. João Vitor has extensive experience in the financial and capital markets and has been at the forefront of the group’s main projects over the last fifteen years. He joined Banco Inter in 2004, was a member of the Board of Directors between 2005 and 2019, Executive Officer since 2008 and Chief Executive Officer since 2015. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering.

Alexandre Riccio is Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at Inter&Co and Vice President of Banking at Banco Inter. Alexandre joined Banco Inter in 2013, as Development Superintendent, having been elected Officer of the Bank in April 2015, Executive Officer of Operations and Management in December 2015 and Vice President in September 2017. In 2020 he was elected Executive Director of Febraban. Before joining Grupo Inter, he served as Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group – BCG (2011 to 2013), Operations Manager at Gerdau Ameristeel (2006 to 2010), Consultant at Falconi (2004 to 2006) and had experience as an entrepreneur in the sports food sector. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG (2003), and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University – USA (2012).

Graduated in Psychology from the Higher Education Center of Juiz de Fora (2005 – 2010) and with an MBA in Strategic People Management from the PUC of Minas Gerais (2012 – 2013). She joined Banco Inter (2017) as a Human Resources Analyst, becoming Development Coordinator (2018) and later People to Business Executive (2019). Before joining Banco Inter, he worked in the Human Resources area at OI S.A (2012 – 2014), Infosys (2014 – 2015) and Sondas Ativas (2015 – 2017).

Graduated in law at Faculdade Milton Campos in 2001, with postgraduation degree in Economics and Business Law from FGV in 2003, Maria Fernanda is a Member of the Corporate Law Committee of OAB / MG. She joined MRV Serviços de Engenharia Ltda. in 1997 as a Billing Department intern and since then she has held the positions of Legal Department intern, Legal Assistant, Legal Department Coordinator, Legal Superintendent, Legal Executive Manager and Chief Legal Officer from 2010 until 2019, when she was elected a member of MRV’s Board of Directors. On December 23, 2019, she was also elected a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Inter.

Claudia Prado is currently an independent board member of B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão, where she also serves as a coordinator on its Governance and Nomination Committee, and is a member of the People and Compensation Committee and of the Sustainability Committee. She was a member of the Board of Directors, President of Latin America and coordinator of the Global Finance Committee and of the Global Diversity Committee of Baker McKenzie Global Law Firm, in addition to being a member of the Advisory Board of TrustWomen (Thompson Reuters Foundation). She was a managing partner at Trench Rossi Watanabe Advogados, where she oversaw the M&A and private equity practice groups in Latin America, and worked as a lawyer specializing in M&A in Brazil and the United States. Also experienced in the nonprofit sector, she was a member of the Fiscal Council of the Sirio-Libanês Social Responsibility Institute and is currently a member of the Governance Board of B3 Social.

Graduated in Civil Engineering with the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG, in 1978. Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Inter since its constitution. Mr. Rubens Menin also founded MRV Engenharia, in 1979, where he served as CEO until March 2014, currently chairing its Board of Directors. He also chairs the Board of Directors of LOG Commercial Properties S.A. and Urbamais Properties e Participações S.A., both belonging to MRV Group.
